After weeks of entries from some of Australia’s leading photographers, V-Sport is proud to announce the winner of our World Time Attack Challenge photography competition, #WTACINAMOMENT. Coming out on top was Dave Oliver’s entry, featuring the fastest man and the fastest car of the event, Garth Walden in the Tilton Interiors Evo.
Dave’s photo is precise, showing depth of field, while capturing that racing essence, as the all important aero sends sparks flying. It’s passion, emotion, accuracy, precision, design, luck and timing all in one photo. That’s what WTAC is all about, right?
Dave will take home a $500 V-Sport voucher to use at either the SMSP Official Store powered by V-Sport, or in our brand new online store. With leading products from brands such as GoPro, Brembo, Stilo, Hawk, Exedy, Sabelt and RaceTech, just to name a few, we suspect Dave may encounter some difficulty in choosing his prize, somewhat similar to the difficulty we faced in determining the winner.
V-Sport certainly did not arrive at our winner with ease. In fact, it was such a close vote from our panel of judges, we turned it out to the public for their help on the final say. Overnight, fans weighed in their opinions on V-Sport’s and WTAC’s Facebook pages, and Dave’s photo was as well received there as it was by our staff, but not by much over our runners up.
V-sport would like to extend a further congratulations to Matthew Everingham and Bronwyn Holmes, taking close runners up. Both Matthew and Bronwyn captured defining and inspiring WTAC moments, and are equally deserving of accolades.
Bronwyn Holmes from Chequered Flag Photography‘s entry was aptly titled,”That Winning Feeling“, capturing Garth Walden celebrating victory after the closest battle in WTAC history.
Special mentions also go to Gwyn Morgan from GripShiftSlide, Nicholas Le from Happy Stance, Stefan Trajkovski and Rhys Vandersyde, whose photos all received a fantastic response from our social media followers.
V-Sport would like to thank all the talented photographers who entered our competition, showcasing the range of perspectives and the pool of talent that’s only brought out by the World Time Attack Challenge.
