V-Sport Gearing Up For Twilight Rally Sprint Series

/V-Sport Gearing Up For Twilight Rally Sprint Series
Sydney Dragway transformed into a sea of rally cars last month, with the North Shore Sporting Car Club holding the inaugural round of their brand new Summer Tarmac Twilight Rally Sprint Series. After witnessing the resounding success of the event first hand, V-Sport is jumping on board to help promote the unique, mid-week concept, and provide support to competitors and enthusiasts alike.

V-Sport will be present in our usual capacity, offering track side support and expert advice. If you have a car at the event and would like to discuss improving it’s performance, please stop by the V-Sport stand and speak with John. Alternatively, if you need some assistance passing scurtineering, chances are, we’ll have what you need in the V-Sport track support van.

Apart from John and all his wisdom, we will also have the highly anticipated AP Racing Radi-CAL brake calipers on display for those who would like to see the new range in the flesh.  Complementing our trade stand will be the GoPro Evolution X, a flawless race car that truly reflects the quality of V-Sport’s workshop and expertise. The GoPro Evo X placed second in the World Time Attack Challenge Open Class in 2013, at the hands of Rick Bates.

V-Sport’s star drivers, Neal Bates and Coral Taylor will be returning for more rally sprint action, after winning the first round in their Toyota Celica GT-4. A rare sight, this special vehicle took Neal, Coral and Toyota to two Australian Rally Championship titles in 1994 and 1995, and also won the prestigious Targa Tasmania tarmac rally. Neal runs V-Sport’s Canberra division, and has fitted various V-Sport products to his WRC-spec weapon, including RaceTech seats, Sabelt harnesses and AP Racing brakes.

V-Sport’s Chris Paradowski will be looking to set a PB in his immaculate Evolution VIII MR, also fitted with a range of V-Sport goodies. Chris has been moulding his Evo over the past few months into a tidy example of a daily driver, with a track focus. Take a peek inside his car; he will gladly talk you through his build. Chris will also be testing our HAWK Performance brake pads on the evening, so be sure to ask him how they’re going!

If racing around Sydney Dragway after work on Thursday sounds like your idea of fun, entries are still open. Visit the North Shore Sporting Car Club website for all the details: www.nsscc.com.au

On behalf of the V-Sport team, we look forward to seeing you all there.

Special thanks to our #WTACINAMOMENT winner Dave Oliver for once again supplying beautiful images.
