The final round of the Australian Rally Championship  is upon us, with drivers set to take to the forests surrounding Victoria’s West Gippsland Region from tomorrow. As always, V-Sport will have a strong presence among rally-goers, having worked alongside drivers with products and support for the past decade.

V-Sport will be represented by Neal Bates and Coral Taylor, contesting the Australian Classic Rally Challenge in their Toyota RA40 Celica. In the ARC,  Eli Evans and Glen Weston will be campaigning on HAWK Performance brake pads from V-Sport, as well as Brendan Reeves and Rhiannon Gelsomino choosing V-Sport to supply their safety equipment.

Neal Bates and Coral Taylor are arguably Australia’s most successful rallying duo, winning four Australian Rally Championships, New Zealand’s international Otago Rally the past two years, and proving unstoppable this season in the classics, already taking the title ahead of the final round. Neal heads up V-Sport’s Canberra division, with his team, and his Toyota Celica decked out from top to bottom in V-Sport products. The pair are undisputedly the crowd favourites, and looking at the images, it’s easy to see why!

V-Sport are thrilled to see Eli Evans and Glen Weston return to the ARC in the Honda Civic Type R.  Eli will be using HAWK Performance’s DTC70 brake pads over the weekend, as part of his ongoing support from V-Sport. V-Sport are offering a special on HAWK brake pads for the month of November. Click here for details.

The Evans team took time out after the International Rally of Queensland earlier this year to perfect the car, and are poised to strike this weekend.

“We wouldn’t be bringing the car out unless we felt we could win. We know we have a great package, and I’ll be heading to Rally Victoria determined to get a win on the board for this year,” said Eli, in an interview with rally.com.au.

However, the title of Australian Rally Champion is wanted more than ever by Brendan Reeves and Rhianon Gelsomino, who have wrestled for the top spot with Scott Pedder and Dale Moscatt all season. Coming in to the event with a 27 point difference, and 80 possible points to gain, it’s going to be a tense decider.

“There’s still plenty of points available and we’ll be doing everything possible to make that title ours this weekend,” Reeves told rally.com.au in an article posted earlier this week.

Brendan and Rhianon turn to V-Sport for all their safety requirements, contesting the season in Stilo ST4WGT motorsport helmets, and Sabelt Ti330 race suits.
