Saturday June 3 saw the fifth installment of the ‘Fitted Friday’ series, now known as FITTED FESTIVAL V at the brand new location of Sydney Airport’s Blue Emu Car Park. With a similar vibe to the prior Sydney Dragway location, but with a city skyline and aero-terminal backdrop that brought the place-to-be atmosphere to the next level. Attracting enthusiasts and traders from across the automotive and motorsport industry, Fitted Events are an all-encompassing, all-welcome party for car lovers and builders from across the country (and world!), even attracting the staff from US-based SuperStreet Magazine to come over for the event.
Part of Fitted Festival is recognising the hard work and dedication of builders, brands and owners to their craft, and with stunning trophies from Trofeo Forged, it is a real honour to take one home. If you have seen Timmy up close you’ll know the level of attention to detail that has been paid throughout the build and development – we are proud to have brought home the ‘Engineered to Perfection‘ award for design excellence.
Also a product of the V-Sport Workshop, John’s 1200 Hakotora Australia was awarded with the HUEFORM 2017 Unfinished Project Prize, after turning heads all evening with it’s unique Hakotora X Sunny Ute aesthetic. Keep an eye out for an in-depth article on this project later in the year.
Moving forward, you can expect to see V-Sport as traders at MotorEx Festival during July at Sydney Olympic Park, and again later in October at the 2017 World Time Attack Challenge event at Sydney Motorsport Park. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook for the latest news and announcements.
